Ertingen

Ertingen, together with its suburb districts of Binzwangen and Erisdorf, is situated at the edge of the Danube lowlands between Mengen and Riedlingen and has 5,560 inhabitants. The municipality has numerous shops and now offers excellent parking facilities on account of the redeveloped, attractive cross-town link.

Places to see:

Chapel of the Virgin Mary (18th century with ceiling paintings by J. I. Wegscheider), Michel-Buck-Stube, numerous sculptures by Prof. Erich Koch, Elisabeth Stapp, Gerold Jäggle and Philippe Sommerhalter. Birthplace of the famous Upper Swabian researcher and dialect poet Michel Buck (1832 - 1888).

Things to do:

Recreation and leisure region 'Schwarzachtalseen' with a camping site (swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, miniature golf) - the location has an award for excellent water quality -, forest nature trail and the forest playground 'Wundertanne', small indoor swimming pool and tennis court.
