EMBRACED BY THE DANUBE
Far away from the busy streets, you will find a picturesque landscape with a network of well-developed and signposted hiking trails. Especially family-friendly is the Danube cycle/hiking route “Donaueschingen-Passau” with great views over forts, castles and ruins. The same applies to the certified hiking trails “Donau-Zollernalb” and the “Donaubergland”, which meet in Beuron. Latter was elected Germanys second most beautiful hiking trail in 2014. Another popular certified trail is called “Donauwellen”. Further routes through the Beuron area are the “Eichfelden-Panorama”, the “Donaufelsen-Tour”, “Klippeneck-Steig”, “Kraftstein-Runde” and the “Donauversickerung”.
Beuron is a worthwhile destination at any time of the year for climbers, hikers, cyclists, as well as people who like to boat and enjoy nature.
