The boat/canoe trip on the Danube through the "Swabian Grand Canyon" in the Upper Danube Valley is characterized by weird rock formations. Another romantic section can be found between Riedlingen and Munderkingen. On the way to Ulm, the Ulm minister can be seen even from a large distance. Around Donauwörth, there are several rivers to boat/canoe. For hard-nosed people that have three months time, we recommend the complete Danube from Donaueschingen to the Black Sea.
